Technical Support Staff of the Mathematics and Applied Mathematics Department at UCT

The task of providing an efficient backup to the teaching and research activities of the Department rests on the shoulders of our team of administrative, technical and support staff. Operating unobtrusively and very often behind the scenes, these members of the Department release the academic staff from a myriad of administrative chores and enable them to focus on their primary responsibilities.

The technical support team comprises a Principal Technical Officer, an Assistant Technical Officer and a User Administrator.

The administrative team comprises a staff of six people - five staff members who serve as Administrators and/or Secretaries and a Departmental Manager. In addition, there are two Departmental Assistants, a Printer and two secretaries appointed by research groups.
