Teaching interests:

Biomathematics/environmental modelling.

Research interests:

The use of a mathematical modelling approach in the assessment of and developing management procedures for renewable marine resources. This includes making contributions to and participating in the scientific committees responsible for providing advice on appropriate levels of catch for South Africa and Namibia's major fisheries, and internationally for whales, Antarctic krill and tuna.
