  2. Paul Erdös Award (awarded by the World Federation of Natioanl Mathematics Competitions, 1992), for his significant contribution in developing a viable mathematics competition scene in South Africa.

  3. Championship in the Teaching of Mathematics Award (Claude Harris Leon Foundation, 1997)

  4. Award for the Advancement of Mathematics (South African Mathematical Society, 2000)
